There’s no blames on our ancestors that they don’t know what to eat, in fact, eating need not be taught. The best thing is, they are not educated, because its the result of being too educated, people invested their knowledge in science trying to increase food supply that bring about all the mixed genes of food in our world = inflammation of immunity = tons of sickness! Try searching for videos on Youtube with regards to GMO food. Pollution is least of all causes, the media is just shifting your attention from the real cause… Cheers…

    • RE: Private Life coaches for children?

      Hi,

you are not rude, just concern. I understand, thank you by the way, I work with the coach and my kids but just not my husband, I was just hoping we can do it as a family, life coaching isn’t much like parenting, perhaps its not popular in Singapore. I find it more like a facilitator whom I work with.

Yes I agree, sometimes it’s easy for me but the other party might not want to do it and I can’t see my children go to waste. I might want it but not the other, everyone has different environment so as a mom, I play with the cards I have. Like I said, it’s preferences based. I was hoping to hear more of whom adopted what I did…Thank you for all your attention and concern!

Yes I have, even the coach did, he is starting to change A LITTTLE! I am just hoping the more exposure my dd has, the more she stands on her "unsafe" ground. Changes is hard for him, I mean for adults so I turned my attention from changing him to my children instead.

I am not firing up a debate here because all I was asking was a share of experience. Perhaps I think there’s so much more than I know so I gave it a shot. I have not mentioned useless parents because neither am I. Like, my husband, he pampers my daughter a lot and protects her very much… When she faces challenges like maths, she becomes dependent, I do try to pull it off but my dd slips out to go her daddy’s side all the time. When I have a session, I have her run no where, sits down and accept training like facing her challenges rather than depending. Clearing her doubts is one thing, meeting challenge is another. It’s not like I can’t do this myself, sometimes as a person, I need reminders to grow as a person and a mother too.

I am working mostly and kids are left at home as they are, sometimes one parent work a way and the other another, it’s between me and my husband, I can’t change him so I asked for help instead, perhaps I feel that there’s much more my children can achieve by having better attitude, in life or academic wise, I just don’t want them to be too comfortable. DD always has mood swing, swinging here and there, uncontrollable. By spending time and working with her, her problems surfaced, so she was highlighted not to be a "most pitiful person in the world", in that way she will always be trapped in her limitations. So, slowly she realized that she don’t blame the world except fixing her own attitude and thinking.

Well, I don’t know about others, this is just a preference, I am not calling all people to hire coaches, if you are happy with what you have, good on all of you! I just wanted to find out who does the same. Cheers!

Okay, let’s start… We all, have, only but one lifetime so why wait until they are 40 and still be miserable? We grew up knowing nothing but thrown out to the world to figure out the complications of life. Isn’t it better to give them a head start in life? Why let them develop bad habits? Isn’t it better to help them develop powerful ones instead? Children who learn to manage their emotions and interact well with others can be happy from the very beginning and lead a successful and fulfilling life. Give my child the chance of a lifetime, so this is what is all about. All deserve a shot, yes?

Private coaching covers different aspects: health, attitude, life, relationships, school (bullies, ‘groupies’ etc…) life. We, as a family usually have our set of family culture that is pretty much fixed and children like sponges adopt and settle comfortably… Not realizing it, they are in their comfort zone - I am not saying that ours aren’t good, and we love and always PROVIDE, when challenges come, they will most likely retreat. But who can turn challenges away and face them bravely?, I think everyone needs a hand, a hand to get down to work on the crucial foundation on life, kids are easier to nurture and change, as we grow, we become concrete and stubborn.

All in all, it includes attitude, positive thinking, goal settling, focus, determination, appreciation, contentment but strive at the same time… it goes on depending on what you want. I chose value over all because I still believe it’s all about attitude. We don’t have much time to rework our lives don’t you agree? The program works with children ad parents…

    • RE: Any classes/ lessons for children's social skills

What kind of standard are you looking for because usually, you can do it yourself and throw them out of their comfort zones, socialize with adults, kids, senior citizens, speak with cashier, order food behalf of all of you? Many, many ways… Unless you define social skills as public speaking or meaning you need a life coach… Otherwise, turning an introvert into an extrovert will need some encouragement from home…
