Canteen food starts from 70 cents for chicken rice, curry rice, fried rice, waffle, pasta and noodles, except for omettele rice which is $1. If your kid is big eater can ask for a bigger potion at $1.20. Drinks from 50 cents onwards, quite ex hence I do not encourage my kid to buy from the canteen unless necessary. Ice-cream cost 60 cents. Snacks like WangWang, seaweed is like 20 cents per pack! So better to pack 1-2 pack to bring to sch if u kid loves to snack.

Eg of 70 cents - Chicken rice consist of 1 drumette with some rice.
Waffle - 1/2 piece of the waffle with honey.

      Dear all,

I m looking at those books which my child needs to bring on the first few days of school and notice that 2 of the books are needed and it's not in the booklist when I purchased the books:

      1) Health Booklet <- this is the medical record book when ur child is born he would have it. Records all the jabs history etc.

      2) Social Studies textbook ( Is it the folio file)? <- YES But why need to bring on 1st day?!? :?

Can anyone please help? And on 3 Jan (first day of school) , I supposed the child need not have to bring anything?

      Many thanks for your help!
Usually 1st day no need to bring anything, maybe the dairy for your kid to record down what are the things to bring for the next few days. Usually the teachers will stagger to ask the kid to bring the things to sch to be kept there so as to lighten their sch bags.

      Hi Kero,

      Thanks for your info.
You are staying at the north?Which part? Is your kids still schooling at HPPS?
So how does your son goes to school everyday? Actually, my MIL stays at Holland Road but I do not want to trouble her. That is why I need to ferry her to and fro.
Surely, will sure with you if I have gotten the contact.
      Hi Shilo,

From the website last time there is no transportation to AMK, Yishun and Sembawang. Which part u stay in? My kid still studying in HPPS.
My hubby send him in the morning while I pick him up from the sch.

      GPTeacher,

Not sure from Bishan to Sch how long it depends on the traffic condition plus how many students the bus needs to pick along the way to sch.

      RE: Uniform
Actually u can now pop by to buy the uniform from the sch bookshop (level 1) or go to the supplier outlet in Orchard.

    • RE: Club Breadmakers

Finally baked the honey bread using the Z-brand recipe for my Breville machine. But I have added raisins and some sesames to it. 😛

The bread turns out to be very soft. Good. 🙂
As my loaf tin is very big, the bread looks so small inside the tin.

      GPTeacher,

The sch bus operator should be around during the orientation. There u will register ur interest with the address. In mid dec or end dec (I forgot when), then they will notify you which bus will be allocated to fetch ur kid and the pick up time. During my time, as there is know bus no on the website, I called the driver in fact in Nov to "chop" a seat 1st as it was a mini passenger van with only 10 seats. Do check out and beware of the timing as we stayed quite far, the time spend on the bus is quite long. My son spend like 1hr per way on the bus when he was P2 the bus would pick him up at 11:15am and only reach home at 19:30pm. That’s from Jurong to sch.
