Mine is too innocent then. When he goes to visit friends’ house (regardless of dwelling type), he only remembers whether the host is friendly or not.
Same for my Child too.

Actually it is rather easy to convincing parents, I could always convince other parents every school is a good school because my son was studying in a neighbouring school where lot of places are still available during Phase 2C(S). You cannot having your kid studying in CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' school and telling other parents every school is good school. Who will believe you?
Good reasoning. Well look at which school the Ministers send their kids to?

Insurance is always the more the merrier but we have limited budget.
Do you mean health insurance or all kind if insurance?
Why the more the merrier?

Insurance is a transfer of risk. We pay to hope we don't need to receive the payout
Well said.

When one bought, and did not do any claim, his joy level should be high knowing he is in the pink of health.
Dont be unhappy about it.

On the other hand, if one had to be hospistalised, just also be happy that you have bought and do not get to come out from your own pocket.

When one buy health insurance as the name said \"HEALTH\" do not compute too much the gain or loss.

Get a plan that is competitive and you can afford it.

ACS numbers are like that every year. Ppl waiting to decide between the 2…or even between the 3 (counting SJIJ)…final day then everybody chiong and tip the scale.

RGPS seems lower this year. Wonder where all the <1km ppl went? NY?
U mentioned ppl waiting to decide between the 2.... final day then ...

They decide later cos they are not decided/unsure or is it they got new information and data to help them make a better informed decision?

Correct.

Read caregivers address and statutory declaration.
https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/p1-registration/home-address
For Nanyang PS, if child is boy there is no affiliation to secondary school after PSLE.
If for GIrls, the affliliation cut off point is limited? Any one can provide any insight?

Parents, do you have any thoughts?

we can't tell. so it is like buying lottery. take a XXXXX.
43 slots with 66 applicants, mean the only 23 will get rejected.
Is this correct? I mean for a top school it seem not too bad. More than 43/66 chance to get admitted!

• RE: 2023 P1 Registration Exercise for 2024 In-take

Now I just checked MOE site it read:

Nanyang Primary School
Available vacancies in Phase 2C

43

Number of applicants

66

How can we tell out of the 66 which is <1Km or 1-2 or >2Km
It looks like for a top school, the odds are not too bad. Only 66 apply out of left 43 places? Is this interpretation correct?
