Limted source of funds may be a bigger trigger next time. So if can let yourself have more time to think about the quitting.

When you reached home. Go straight to shower. I m quite bad..if eg a repairman comes into my home..after he left I will spray sanitizer on floor and use wet tissues to wipe the the path..

For me going out short trips, I m not that careful with hair.. I don't wash hair every day unless really you are real close to someone coughing ow what.

For kids, try let them have better diet, vitamins and sleep plus manage stress.

Yes, I do the same with any visitor after they leave - wipe down doors, tables & chairs, taps & washbasins, etc 😬 Extra wirk but I don’t feel it coz to me purposeful work is fast & quickie.

I do wash my hair everyday, esp right after reaching home. I’ve learnt fr my PRC frd who passed me my 1st load of alcohol wipes when we eat out - every utensils & plates are wiped down. Guess u’ll recognize me out there if u see someone doing this (besides my PRC frd) 😅

Mentioning your hair, have you read the news that Delta variant is most likely to stay in the hair. I don't know how true is that but, just in case, what would be the proper way to avoid this? Cut the hair short or cover the hair?

      Hi Mommies,

Would like to seek help for the safety of my child. I'm a working mom and I'm worried of catching COVID along the way. I'm stressed thinking I might pass it to my child upon going home. The news about increasing cases adds up to my anxiety. Would it be best to resign on my work but, it would give me more stress because there would be limited source of funds. I'm mentally stressed =( What should I do?

I have a friend who suffers from Covid anxiety and is taking medication to calm herself down before she leaves home for work each day. Maybe you can also consider getting a psychiatrist to prescribe you some medication?

Once we reopen to the outside world, travelers for business/leisure will start to flood in, we will definitely see an increase in Covid cases and be prepared that for each household, we will definitely see at least 1 member to have caught Covid, perhaps just like how we catch a flu bug. It is a sooner or later thing unless we forever live in own bubble, which is not possible. This is really beyond our control, what will be will be.

Maybe seek help from professionals (psychologist/psychiatrist)? I don’t think quitting work will help, instead, you should try to keep yourself busy to keep your mind occupied with other stuff? Quitting job alone won’t help unless you are prepared not to step out of the house?

What medication is she taking? Yes, my friends suggest too an option to see a psychiatrist. Will it still be possible to achieve the herd immunity if we reopen to the outside world? I guess it will just worsen the case.

    • RE: Do your kids play online game?

Yes, together with the other kids on our neighborhood. But as a parent, I make sure that playing time is limited as it can damage eyesight and mental state.

Me time is about drinking my hot coffee in our living room with a book in my hand. Been doing this before I sleep for a peace of mind and for a better me.

Yes, I’m still lucky to still have a job because I read that during this pandemic, adults in households with job loss or lower incomes report higher rates of symptoms of mental illness than those without job or income loss (53% vs. 32%). Maybe I’m just over reacting about getting infected with the virus specially about Delta Variant, which is more transmissible. Thinking about it gives me panic attacks.

Is this the same as they call Networking? Lots of my friends are into that kind of business. Its either you will sell products or refer a friend and you’ll get a referral fee upon your friend’s successful registration.

Lessen children's social media interaction is the key to discipline them. As we all know, media is a great influencer in terms of fashion, relationship and shopping. It will greatly affect their puberty's behavior.
That's a challenging one to do. Limit them in your house yet they also have friends outside. Also, they have their own mobiles so they can do research about things.

That’s part of being a parent, anxiety and stress level are on the peak most of the time. We tend to panic for small things but, as our child grows , we will also out grow those worries.

      Hi Luluu,

There’s nothing wrong about a teen applying basic make up like powder and lip balm or light shade of lipstick. Though, as a parent, still try to convince her that natural beauty works best and try to tell her that she’s to young to get her face ruined.
