Does anyone know if the P1 registration Balloting history charts might be updated or still in use?

I highly recommend a week in the outer suburbs of Melbourne (Healesville and Yarra Ranges)

Oh ya we did Melbourne on 3 vacations... explored all these places..

Eg. http://peihwasec.moe.edu.sg/programmes/direct-school-admission-dsa/robotics-programming/
Thanks a lot, Zappy. Some schools don't provide such detailed info like Pei Hwa Sec though. :scratchhead:
Actually, they do provide. You just have to go into the schools' websites (those that have robotics DSA) from here: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/direct-admissions/dsa-sec/stem

The individual school's websites does provide at least some of the requirements. Details may vary but you can definitely get information from there. Examples:

https://scgs.moe.edu.sg/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SCGS_DSA_Information_2018.pdf
http://haisingcatholic.moe.edu.sg/hai-programmes/direct-school-admission-robotics-n-engineering/dsa-admission-criteria
http://www.commonwealthsec.moe.edu.sg/admissions/direct-school-admission
Thanks, Zappy... I'm looking out for my DS so can't select all-girls' schools & most of these schools are far from my place...

Has anyone has applied DSA Robotics?

Can share which schools your DC has applied?
Eg

which specific requirements needed for DSA Robotics?

Thank you.

MOE had already listed 17 Secondary schools in Sg, that offer Robotics DSA :-

based on this listing, as a guide, u can then enter their individual school website : check on each school's Robotics detailed DSA requirements

https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/direct-admissions/dsa-sec/stem

Yes, I have read this before - not all \"DSA Robotics\" schools gives detailed DSA requirements like Pei Hwa Sec.

I'd think every school that offers it would have slightly different requirements. You'd need to specifically go to the school you're interested in to see the specifics.

Eg. http://peihwasec.moe.edu.sg/programmes/direct-school-admission-dsa/robotics-programming/

Thanks a lot, Zappy. Some schools don't provide such detailed info like Pei Hwa Sec though. :scratchhead:

needed to ask a question off from this thread :

Has any parents here attended \"Parents Learning Festival\" before? Any feedback to share? Worthwhile going? Thanks.

Ps: can't find other threads in KSP forums on this topic.

the school that i registered this P2Cs was oversubscribed. the school admin was so kind and called to ask me to withdraw and register at other school which has higher chance. Not all schools did that.. sigh

Wow..this admin is very nice. Deserves a nice bouquet of flowers.

They didn't realise the complexity and magnitude of P1 reg & thought it's like our parents' time. just register in school and Dec buy sch uniforms and books. It's totally different to the current system.
.... ....

If they still think things are so easy like our parents’ time, I can say they will truly be in for a very rude shock when their kids actually start P1.

I’m talking about the Maths syllabus in particular. Big shock bomb there for them.

Exactly... different methodologies, cannot use algebra to solve maths questions. use \"Guess & Check\" :slapshead:
It's very tough for full time working parents who finish work late 8pm or 10pm. Esp those who need to travel biz trips regularly.
Certainly can't expect our helpers / maids cannot help in this scope.
How to have more babies? hahahaha.... really so hard to balance work/career & family/children. :scratchhead:
