Yup! There’s a double standard for this! When I’m out with my friends (all moms) we dun use the phone as its a form of respect for one another. maybe also because we are from an older generation. but when out with kids only, they are on their phone the whole time! so i’ll also take the chance to use my phone to while away time while waiting lol

My kid said they went through quite a lot of listening practice for e note taking part during the prep and the master trainer read out quite a lot o passages to train them :imcool:

Yup! sec 1 is like the time when they get exposed to a brand new environment and explore all sorts of different ccas. they should be enjoying life before sec 2 when the stress of streaming comes in lol

Hi, I’m not too familiar with the JC syllabus. Will every student in JC need to use the scientific calculators? What about the H1… will they need to use the new graphic calculators or will they be using the scientific calculators which they already have in sec sch?

Just curious, which stream is easier to enter uni? Science or art?

Yup agreed a lot of my friends are sending their kids to the IP stream because of all the benefits the schools are saying about. It seems like the trend of for students to skip O Levels through the IP system not sure if this is going to be a good tho…
