My piglet is registering for P1 next year. Just curious, if our family follows my husband for work overseas, can I enrol my son in the school first, and get the school to hold a place for him until he returns in Primary 2 or 3? Will my son have to go through a placement test upon his return? Has any parent gone through such an experience? Any advice please?

I had a friend with the same situation, she registered, submit a letter and just keep paying for the school fees, that way, when u return, u get immediate slot. They hold the place as he is still considered a student but on long leave :evil:

thanks for the update about the \"ghost\". this morning while waiting for school bus, my boy was telling me something like this (but in a story telling way). he was very surprised when i told him i knew about it...lol then he asked me how i knew about it, whether i can see him in school from some distant video..lol..

My boy is in 1 Joseph. Ting Xie is on Monday and Spelling is Wed. Today! Wonder how he would fare… he daydreams… sigh…

Start of homework! One page of stellar handwriting. Ting Xie and Spelling list came back today and notice for PAL program.


Still happy boy. Made him finish his work b4 he is allowed to play… So far all’s good.

Any one knows how are P5s grouped? Class 5A - 5H. Which are 5s, 4s, foundation class etc…?

My boy form teacher is only starting some lessons today. Full lessons will only start nx week for their class.


They discuss, play, get to know each other till yesterday. Will see what’s he’s taught for today.
