SG Schooling provides the cut-off point displayed in the nicest format imo. You can view the schools by region, or the IP schools, or all of the schools.

RE: All About Ballet
My child is taking Jazz class, but the school is very pushy on them taking the pre-modern exam. We have been "warned" that if we never take exam, then might need to be retained in the same level.
Isn’t exam and coaching classes an optional thingy?
How should children who are learning simply to develop an interest handle such schools? Any tips? -
RE: Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools
I did an analysis of the % of phase 1 taken up based on the school population. This would give a good indication of what parents (hopefully with good knowledge of the school) did for the sibling.

If good, they will register for Phase 1. If not good, then they will give up in Phase 1. What do you think? -

Me too in 2021. It looks like gonna be very similar to this year. Same same ~37k children.
I'm registering my kid in 2021 (SG50 baby) and I'm like :yikes: at the registration this year. It's gonna be rough.MummyY\" post_id=\"1989188\" time=\"1596519041\" user_id=\"184520:
I will be registering my kid in 2022.
My preference ..after reading all the kind advice given here is..
Ballot in phase 2b then pray hard.
If fails... Ballot in phase 2c and pray hard.
If not .. I will go to the school we identified for 2s 😅
Life is already stressful enuf. With covid likely to be here for the next 2 years -

The (top) 50 schools need to ballot for Singapore Citizen who stay within 1km. Out of 1km? You stand no chance at all :stompfeet: -
RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

The exact number of applications by distance is only released by the school if they want to, I think.
May I know what’s the balloting history for phase 2C Maris Stella primary school is balloting required for <1km, 1-2km or >2km?
On average in the last 10 years, Phase 2C has 69 vacancy, with 82 applicants -- need balloting for sure, but distance unknown. You can check https://just2me.com/sgprimary/school/maris-stella-high/ -
RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History
There is fewer children compared to last year (-8%), but the vacancy also decreased, so net-net not much difference.
I did an analysis of my own comparing 2018 vs 2019, of the vacancies available for Phase 2, with % change.
https://just2me.com/2019/07/06/results-after-phase-1-of-primary-school-registration/
And also ranked the hottest 30 school from Phase 1 :torchme: -

Very generous of you to share. Thank you!I consolidated the balloting history for 2018 while planning for my child. Hope it helps some of you :imcool:

I like that you have listed the primary schools by alphabetical order. It’s much easier to find a school this way! :udaman:[/quote]
https://just2me.com/sgprimary/
Now also categorize by region, so easier to see and compare in 1 page eg. https://just2me.com/sgprimary/2010/yishun/
