At the end of sec 2, who can transfer into ACSI ? only restricted to boys from ACS (barker) secondary, or anyone from outside schools ?

Anybody not already in an IP can attempt it. However, it is far from easy; chance of success from outside is very low. I was once in charge of the admissions testing; some good years, maybe 3-5%. Sometimes, not a single one. Sometimes, via similar criteria to DSA, it's just about possible.

      Appreciate for sharing this information!

      Hi,

Anyone has good IP Maths tutor/tuition centre to recommend? Can pm me also. Thanks.
I would recommend Mr Lau Hock Soon and Ms Yvonne Chen from Future Academy. Mr Lau is former HCI HOD of Maths, while Ms Chen is former RGS Maths teacher. They have IP classes that students are mainly from NYGH. You may check with them.

you shall put it down as the first choice.
students scored 258 also got EEIS scholarship. normally, it is like 260++.
my child's tuition teacher sent me this screenshot. one of her students scored 272+3. it is the 2nd highest of a very good girl school.

So i suppose the score is lower this year.

EEIS is 260 this year. True, it's slightly lower than last year but most school's COP is unlikely to shift by much. That said, any movement within + - 2 points is fairly usual. So a drop of 2 points for COP is always possible.

      I got a friend's child got EEIS with 258 ....

anyone can confirm what is the cop for EEIS?

Wow, 2010 onwards, COP for RGS is like go lower than NYGH ever since. Wonder what really happened.

bcz fewer spots left after the girls from NYPS taking the spots via affiliation.
RGS is still better in standard in my opinion. no offense.

      Hi ,

Need advise . My girl got 266 + 3 for her psle . She wanted to go RGS as many of her friends are putting it as 1st choice but we are concern about the stress level after hearing much from friends . We are considering MGS or Cedar Girls . Any advise ? Is it really do stressful in RGS?
Her score is definitely quite a few marks higher than RGS COP. Not border line case. You shall let her go as she wants. Have faith in your child!! :rahrah:
