Hello mummies or daddies,
I'm trying to start a playgroup at Yew Tee / CCK area and i am looking for like-minded mummies to join me. i'm a sahm so time is flexi. pls pm me for details, we can discuss more.
Also .....
Would anyone be interested to join me and my family for a private group inline skating lessons at CCK or Yew Tee?
I need about 2 more pax (adults or children above 3 are fine). I would like to start in around 1 Dec onwards as i'm overseas now, be back only around that time. I'm a SAHM so my schedule is fairly flexi, i'm okay to work around your schedule. We can organise like a playgroup.
I am trying to get the skate school to conduct a class for us at CCK area. There are 3 of us (2 kids 3 and 4 plus 1 adult me) and we want to have the class near Yew Tee Residences or at CCK park area. Bukit Panjang may be okay with us as my sister in law stays around there.
Timing will be weekends either morning before 11am or late afternoon at 4.30pm onwards.
We would want to learn rollerblade from this school call Skate With Us. I would really prefer this school as i am more comfortable with them. I have seen their instructors and like the way they conduct their lessons. This skate school has a special programme just for preschoolers you can go to their website at http://www.skate-with-us.com to find out more about them
pls pm me for details e.g. $$ soonest as i'm trying to plan out our schedule as soon as we can.

RE: All about Transferring to Other Primary Schools
choosing schools is a MAJOR MAJOR headache...there's no PERFECT school but i'm for affliated schools actually, not just for the \"insurance\" factor but also i feel those schools with affliation TEND to be schools that have place more emphasis on character-building (of cos this is a biased opinion..). so given the chance, would encourage parents to do so...it's important to me at least to choose a school that brings about values and emphasis on lifeskills and morals ....
here's a link of affliated school courtesy of kiasu parents if anyone wants a referral..http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/affiliated-schools-listing -
RE: All About GEP
oh speaking of GEP, only around 3000 or 4000 students get to go for the exam each year and it will be on languages e.g. el and cl
the school usually hand out the screening test on end august or so…
being a KIASU parent, personally will prep the child for it so that it’s not such a big leap when they go for the exam…some enrichment centres in SG (think UE square) actually have courses for GEP prep…but it depends on parents la…i don’t think it’s extra pressure but i hate to send a kid to any exam with zero idea of what’s it is about! but pls lah, don’t stress the kids too much!
just sharing my thoughts! :!: -
