RE: Lied - Would you expose her???
Erm, I thought this is the most common type of people? During my school days, there would be some who claimed that they didn’t have time to study, sure fail etc… Then it turned out they always topped the class. And from certain sources, these were the very ones who secretly requested for past year papers/notes from seniors and mugged away for exams …

I understand nowadays that these people are called "closet Muggers",commonly used in JC to label classmates.

Hi JanetHi Tweet/Jennifer,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember you have kids in upper primary.
Jennifer, your boy is in P6 this year ? Just spoke to my neighbour, she told me to expect more stressful time ahead in P5 as Maths & Science is very tough. Is it very jialat from P5 onwards ??
This year's SA2 for Chinese P4 has been modified, in line with P6 oral.
Memo from principal came back last week...作文 will be 15% (a drop in weightage) but more emphasis on Oral
. Will get my son to read his textbook more often now.
My boy is in P6. Comparing P5 and P6, he finds that P5 having more Homework, learning higher order maths for ratio,& and fraction compare to P4. However, I feel that maybe he has maths tuition this yr and he is taught how to solve challenging maths questions, futhermore with weekly tuition, it is like doing revision for him.
For chinese compo, the paper itself is over 40 marks, oral is 50 marks (20 marks for reading,20 for picture,10 marks for conversation)
Hope this helps -

Hi DavidThanks for the reassurance.
will see how he copes with PHPP in P1 next year.
he's got a piano lesson once a week.
and he tells me, he doesn't even like it..
what are your experiences with piano learning ?
please share
david1234
My DD likes to play the piano, started at the age of 4, after seeing her cousins attending at Yamaha. so finished her grade 8.As for my DS, started him JMC but after 2 yrs, i asked him whether to continue learning piano just like his sis, 1 to 1 at home. He replied \" I dont like at all\" so i stopped him knowing no point to \"push\" him. In the end, he is into arts. My younger DS did not even start him on music, from young, his butt cant seem to touch the chair.
Do observe your DS for a while. If he practises his pieces without having you to nag at him, then it should be no problem. Have a cousin that has to use cane on her DS & DD, in the end both stopped at G3 and Grade 5 respectively. Music is for enjoyment and appreciation, should not be stressful for the kiddy and parents!!!

FT will give the student a lift pass, so that he/she can use the lift till he/she recovers from injury. The lifts in Pei Hwa are for teachers.
Son told me they are not allowed to take the lift unless they are helping the teacher to carry books to/from staffroom, injured the ankle or any other valid reason.
So school mgmt should have thought of building 7-8 storeys. Definitely GOOD exercise for the boys carrying bags. Girls will also have well-toned thighs...no need to join gym or ballet.
