Another boy in Loyalty 1. Looks like this class will have lots of boys then. ..So see you around these corners in the coming yrs.
My DH is old sch boy, so nope we did not PV..
But we both plan to be more involved, as we find it's the best way to know our boy better.. It's good to know that the teachers are well-recommended.. fierce teachers are sometimes better as kids will pay more attention!!
We r thinking of getting more PE attire too, as my DH remembers tearing his sleeves very often when playing in sch!! think PE attire can be more lasting??

My son doesn’t like his Eng teacher bcos she is very strict with the class…something I definitely welcome. The stricter the better. Kids who have strict teachers will have to listen and focus.
Hubby & I enjoyed the volunteering in the school. We get to see the students and how they interact. Next yr when daughter goes to P1 (though diff school), we will try to get involved too. -

Hi Janet, is your ds in P4 this year? If so, you have another 2 years of opportunities to volunteer in Pei Hwa. How about getting your hubby to help out in Fathers@PHPPS? This post has been removed. An updated list of PH parents will be posted on 1st page at the end of the year (without the classes).

Hi E3
Thanks! PSLE is finally over! Liberated  -
DS going p1 come 2011. The checklist from sch didn’t mention anything about shoes? Are shoes that are basically white in colour but with some coloured logos/designs acceptable in principle?
Is ds allowed to wear branded shoes (I feel adidas shoes are very comfortable) or must he stick to plain brandless shoes? I’m not trying to spoil ds but from my experience, cheap brandless shoes tend to hurt my feet while doing sports? So this consideration is more coming from the health angle.
Simple qn I know but there is really no guideline from sch regarding this aspect so far. Thanks.
