It’s only highly recommended, not compulsory to take music cca. Thus your girl can join Track & Cross-country. There are many MEP students who joined non-music ccas too.

May I know where things like socks, name tags (if there's any), badges can be bought? Is it at the uniform shop?

No special socks (just normal white ones are OK).
Name tags - order at the school book shop. Make sure you get the right colour as each year has a different colour.

I bought my girl's RGS socks at the prefect booth during registration last year. Couldn't remember the price. It was around $3/pair. My girl also bought extra pairs from the PB (prefect) room during term time. 2 name tags will be issued by form teachers. U don't have to order them now, unless you need extra name tags.

      Hello!

My boy is posted to RI. He's very small size and size 12 shirt from Bibi n Baba is too big for him. I was told that it takes 4 weeks to tailor-make his shirt. May I know where can the small-size students buy their school uniform?

      :thankyou:

I think the class size is about 10 students/instructor. They don't really get to bath, just rinse their body.
No time to shower? Like that the skin contaminated with the chlorine how? Any idea what is the ratio for the swimming coach to students? 1:8 like being held in swimming complex? 🤷

Swimming lessons will start on the 6/2 and end on 16/4. Mon, Wed n Thurs 7.45 - 8.45am ard 80 students each time. I guess it will depend on which day the kids will be hvg their PE lessons. I heard it will be at Safra Mount Faber. With 80 of them it will be a challenge for them to bathe n be back in school on time for recess!!!!

U are right! I usually packed a bread or something for him so that he need not queue for food when back in school for recess, save me some time...
The kids will wear school Tshirt and short over the swim suit. Let them have a small bag to pack their towel, goggle and water bottle (dun need any float) cos they wont be carrying their school bag to SAFRA.
If I recalled correctly, they will ask for parent volunteers to help out. If your kids cant swim and u r worried, just drop by 1-2 lessons to see how they conduct...That was what I did. Aft that 2mths + swimming, he still cant swim:<
Hi Dinomum,

My boy told me that there are more 4A2 students transferred to 4M today. So, the class size is about 47-48 or more. Unbelievable!!!

      Hi ctct61t,

How did u manage to transfer ur girl to CHIJ Kellock? My dd has been telling me she likes all girls class more. But my hubby think it’s more convenient for her to be in the same sch as my ds. I’m thinking if she’ll be happier in a girls’ sch, then next tm I may try to transfer her to CHIJ kellock too.

My ds will also be in P3 next yr. Btw, I’ve received a letter fm RMPS that my dd will be going to a different class in P1 next yr. Did anybody receive this letter? She’ll be going to 1D instead of 1 Harold.
