RE: Shopping - What & Where to buy in Indonesia
hate to say this but… sanitary pads are very cheap in indonesia. for some brands, it is 1/4 of the price in SG. but must go to the supermarkets that cater to locals, not expats/tourists.
bandung factory outlets have quite nice and affordable clothes too. -
RE: Best destinations in Europe in Feb
daylight hours would be more or less same with singapore for all three countries. it will be cold but hard to say if it will be cold to the extent of affecting flights/train (you can’t predict nature!). not sure about opening hours for tourist spots.

RE: All About Polytechnics
would recommend to do a general business diploma instead.
it is very easy for business diploma grads to go into tourism anyway.
leaves you with more job options. -
RE: Low carb, low sugar breakfast
quinoa salad!
you can also do simple wholemeal wraps too. with pulled pork, tuna, minced meat, meat balls etc. -
RE: May i know what is the career prospects of arts degree?
puzzledearthworm:
What if the students did not manage get good grades in university? Where do they end up? My foundation is weak...
there are so many majors in FASS, try to find one which you can excel in.
if your grades are no good, then try to get more internship or part-time work experience. at least you will have an edge when you graduate. -
RE: May i know what is the career prospects of arts degree?
If your maths is strong, you can consider majoring in econs.
Some people would also say that econs is one of the majors in arts which has better prospects. -

Most of my friends are back there as they were IP throughout, and I really fit in there, but in my new JC, i feel like I do not fit in.
So are you going to follow these friends to the same uni course and same company to work in future too? -
I refer to the recent article titled \"Father fighting against daughter’s $76,000 bond debt to MOE for failing teaching course.\"
Credits for all 6 'O' Level subjects is plain mediocre, or should I just say it straight: WAY BELOW AVERAGE.
Perhaps the Ministry of Education could shed some light on how a person can be accepted as a trainee teacher on the basis of such dismal grades.
I don't even want to venture a guess as to why the girl really failed both practicums.
Something is terribly wrong with the selection system judging by her case.
http://www.domainofexperts.com/2014/03/ ... -debt.html -
