[quote=\"Debelle\"]Hi, can anyone help me with the following questions:

          1) My mother _takes__ me to school in the morning.
          1. takes 2. orders 3. brings 4. fetches

2)____Whom were you talking to just now?
          1. Who 2. Whom 3. Which 4. Whose

          3) Was it ___they__ who tried to sell drugs to the undercover policeman?
          1. they 2. them 3. their 4. theirs

          4) The XYZ National Park was built to ___preserve___ wildlife so that modernization will not destroy them.
          1. guard 2. protect 3. support 4) preserve

          Thank you
For Q4, not too sure as well, but preserve has the meaning of keep things in the same state (original form); hence my answer.

            Hi Savoury sweet,
The answer should be 3 because mother told Tina. Told is past tense therefore the answer should be cleared. 🆒

Found it funny though; since when would a person use past tense when issuing instructions? The word told indicates the action was in the past, yet at the point in time, surely the present tense is used?

It is because of the word \"has\" in the sentence. Hence, we have to use the past participate tense, and the past participate tense of the word run happens to be \"run\".
You may refer to the site below for list of past participate tense of each word : -

                      Hi there

Can anyone recommend a theme-based vocab book at P6, please? Buy theme, I mean a section say flowers, office-working, canteens, etc.

I have the EPH Complete Practice Book, but it is insufficient. All help, labelling book name and author is much appreciated.

                      Cheers.

                        Dear All

                        Oral for scene in classroom.
Two students are talking to each other, oblivious to teacher’s presence, and the teacher is staring angrily at them.
Can we say the kids are ACTING UP? Is it appropriate to say they are acting up when they are just chatting away and not being aware that the teacher is staring angrily at them?

                        Thanks!
