Are all parents registered under 2a2 will receive confirmation letter by now?
Received the confirmation letter yesterday.
My DS is registered in phase 2A(1) and we received the confirmation letter on Wednesday indicating the Orientation date and time. -
Did not manage to get recommendation letter for NCPS, now gotta wait for P2C... balloting results will only be out on 6th Aug 2013. If not balloted, I would not be able to get into compassvale pri which is a road across my house.. utlimately gotta send my gal to a far away school which is not within my plan ..

qms:
No restriction to be put on the waiting list of any school but for any vacancy that becomes available for P1, the priority goes to the PVs who failed at the ballots, then comes those with connections (clans/ church / grassroots) before they consider those from Phase 2C or those who didn't even try balloting (and this is possibly based on distance from home as well).
I doubt so.marzipan:
Thanks qms for your reply.
Sorry I didn't make myself clear earlier. What I wanted to ask was whether sch A will entertain my appeal to get into the sch if during the last few hours of Phase 2C I know I wont have a chance at sch A at all and I proceed to register for sch B instead under Phase 2C. Thanks!
For transfer, it's usually easier in P2 or P3 coz good results can be used instead of those \"priorities\"... -

If you don't want to take the risk, you should consider applying for Compassvale Pri during P2C instead. -

1 question, if done PV , local, eligible for 2B but did not get a place in 2B, will drop to 2C ? so if this child is staying within 1 km, he will go with other 2C kids within 1km or higher priority since PV done by parents. How about if he stay > 1km , will his chance lesser eventhough done PV ?

You won't get any special privilege in Phase 2C even if you had PVed for that school. It's the distance that counts. -
