QMS,
How much time is sufficient? After making the assessment at 3pm at HIPS, shld I go to Rosyth to withdraw, then make a trip back to HIPS to apply? How long does a sch take to process application? -

Withdrawal is pretty fast. The problem is if you have a group of people in front of you doing the withdrawal, too. So, that will take time.
Please check with Rosyth what documents they need for withdrawal, if any. -
qms:
Depends on the school. I went to the school at 425pm and told them I wanted to register but the other school needed to withdraw the initial registration. My wife was stationed at the other school and they dillied and dallied intil it was almost 4:40pm! I was panicking, but the admin of the school was quite calm, told me that since I was in the school before 430pm, it's not an issue, the system is always opened!krex:
Is there a cut off time? So I shld arrange for hb to be in Rosyth to withdraw, say at 4.30pm, then for me to register 5 mins later at HIPS with the original docs?
Registration ends at 4.30 pm. It means your application needs to be entered into the MOE system by 4.30 pm. So, it will be too late if your husband withdraws only at 4.30 pm. -
Though my DD is only in next year, but I think leaving more buffer time i.e 4.15pm is preferred so that you can cope with any unexpected issues such as system lagging and error, long queues, principal in toilet etc.
Going for changes at the very last minute will only stress you n spouse more especially when needed to deal with 2 schools?
Do correct me if I'm incorrect on the above as it will be my turn to stress next year too! :?: -
Tiozz:
If you know what stresses you out, then do your best to avoid it! I was probably the last person to register a kid for Phase 2C in Singapore this year! I'm usually pretty calm, but I have to admit, there was a small measure of panic creeping in!Though my DD is only in next year, but I think leaving more buffer time i.e 4.15pm is preferred so that you can cope with any unexpected issues such as system lagging and error, long queues, principal in toilet etc.

:rotflmao: seriously... why would the gastronomical habits of the P have any effect/stress on us KiasuParents trying to optimize our kiasu plans for our children? -
Meremortal,
That is so scary! Which sch did u withdraw from and which sch did u enter? Do both need original documents or just one sch only?
I’m guessing I’m the only silly one who would want to withdraw from Rosyth, so maybe won’t have queue, hahaha. -

So my wife was at the other school to submit the withdrawal and I had the birth cert, immunisation cert, wife's i/c to register... -

It actually depends on the school. Some schools require certain original documents for withdrawal. -
