I tried finding cc at Pa.

But have to go down to the cc to speak to the teacher right?
The cc themselves won’t know much details leh.
        I would like to ask
Is it still in time NOW to join a primary class and try the primary exam in mar/apr2014?

It may not be possible as coaching classes are starting soon.

Try asking to join a primary class… without asking to take the exams in april. Then move up with the rest after their exams. Afterall, not a prerequisite to hv the primary cert to go on to next level… this way she still gets 6 months of training in primary grade.

                Yes, Nicnac.
                This should be the way.

                  Thanks thanks.

                  I’ve a qn here
Sba informed me in yrs that they hv concert the girls will not have exams.
Will this affect the application form for dsa if they need to fill up g1-g5 the results
And the child doesn’t have the max cert coz it was not taken due to concert?

Also, if say after passing grade 1, then midway thru learning in prep for grade 3,decides to stop, coz g2 was skipped due to concert, does that means she has only g1 as highest grade cert though she is now doing g3, just that didnt take the exam?

So in such situation, wise thing to do is sit for exam then leave if needed?

                    Hi Ryes
From whai I know, there are no pre-requisites for RAD Graded Examinations. It is not necessary for candidates to have taken the previous Graded Examination before being entered for an examination.

Hi. I have just moved to Singapore and staying in East Coast. I am looking for a ballet schools teaching RAD Gr 2 for my daughter. Does anyone have any good schools to recommend nearby ? From what I have found does anyone have any reviews on the following schools?

                      1) Artiste Quotient
                      2) nafa
                      3) sba

                      Which is better?

                      Thanks

I'm sharing based on my own research done.
Only had experienced with sba once when I brought my girl for trial last sun.
I love sba, the professionalism, the spacious waiting space for parents to sit and wait, 3 changing rooms, toilet accessible.
You can call sba, look for yani and she will arrange a trial for your girl.
Trial $21.40. Not sure if it differs at each grade trial but thats what I paid for pre pri trial. After the assessment done, she will call you again after the teacher has provided the feedback to them. On whether your girl is accepted to the sch and at which level.

Aqdance- two mummies I got to know via forum sends their girl there. It's operated by one of ex teacher fr crestar. They produce good dancers. Also one of my choice but had to forego due to location and the traveling.

Nafa- I read somewhere that nafa doesn't send the girls for grading. I can't be sure about this. Didnt call them either.

Given the 3, I would go trial at sba and aq and then decide fr there.
                        HTH.
