St Margaret's Primary

I agree the teachers may be too busy to reply all the emails which probably circle around the same topics. Hence a class blog would be useful so we know what is taught, reminder of spelling or test dates.
My son had a class blog and the teacher would briefly record what was taught on (almost) daily basis and remind parents to reinforce at home. I thought that was very useful. -

That’s very onz of your son’s teacher and a good way to keep parents updated! -

Regarding the trip to Malacca, students will leave the school at 6.30am, which means that they need to be in school earlier.
We do our best to reach school by 7.15am at the latest. This is because our regular taxi driver only gets his taxi back at around 6am when his relief driver is supposed to return it (although he’s been played out several times). Also, my dd needs to drink at least one cup of milk to tide her over until recess.
Just don’t know how to reach school before 6.30am. And what about breakfast?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi!
My daughter is in P3 this year.
I’d like to get some books/papers for additional practice, especially in Maths.
Can anyone tell me which is most recommended - assessment books or past exam papers?
Any specific assessment books/authors?
Which year’s exam papers are most recommended? There are so many available.
Appreciate any advice/suggestion.
Thankyou. -
Hi parents with P3 child,
My daughter will be joining SMPS in term 2 this year as a new P3 student. I would like to ask the following questions.
1. Besides CCA, are the P3 required to stay back after school every week for supplementary or remedial classes?
2. How’s the homework load every day.
3. Can I get both the PE attire and school uniforms from Baba and Bibi?
4. Do the students wear tie to school every day?
Sorry for the long questions. I’m toi anxious.

Hi ding dang
Am only able to help answer qn 3 & 4.
Yes you will be able to get the pe attire and uniform fr bibi baba at Far East shopping center.
Yes they are required to wear tie daily. It is part of their uniform.
On top of that, Friday morning are the morning workout so your gal has to wear pe attire underneath her uniform as well IF Friday is not her pe day.
Welcome to smps family. -
Thanks Ryes for the clarification.
I hope my girl will transit into SMPS smoothly. I’m worried she’ll have problem adapting to too many changes at one go. Keeping my fingers crossed.
