Does anyone know how the students are grouped in class? Is it based on PSLE scores, PSLE subject grades, CCAs, etc…?


DD is very keen in CCHM and worry if can secure a place (her score is 248) as it seems a lot of parents are eyeing CCHM this year.

248 can easily get her a place in CCMS. If I am not mistaken, last year’s COP is 241. There is no way the COP can rise by 7 points.

I am considering whether to select cchm or tkss? Both DS are eligible.

CCHM is on our list of school. DD score is 245+2. Getting from Yishun to CCHM seem to need a bit of travelling time. No sure my child can cope with the travelling time.

From Dakota Mrt to CCHM back gate need to cross any road to reach the PCN track?
No sure she should select CCHM due to long travelling time. Any advice on this?

my dad used to be a Chung Cheng boy back in Singapore tumultuous time … i think in 50s … he was in the famous 513 incident ( May 13th) student riots that broke out … he jumped into the lake to escape


now his grand daughter will put this school as one of her choices

Any kids staying at Thomson area, I wonder how do they travel to school by bus services? Any direct bus from AMK/Thomson are to school? Please advise, thank you.

i think … one of the ways is to take 162 to orchard area , then change to bus 33…

Yes, is indeed a long journey if take bus.

I suppose taking circle line from Marymount to Dakota station and walk to school will shorten the traveling time, correct me if I am wrong…many thanks.

How long/far if need to walk from MRT station and reach school gate?

according to the singapore maps app , it says that buses - 162 and 16 , about an hour journey and need to walk about 400m and for MRT , you need about 40mins and walk for 200m

Hi everyone!Can I ask about the chinese standard of Chung Cheng cuz my daughter scored an A for PSLE. I am afraid she cannot catch up with the chinese. Also, are the parent orientations in chinese?
