Welcome to Cedar family ! :rahrah:

Maybe you can click on the link below and choose \" Car Park Label Application Form\" option. The form is located there.

Glad to join with you all to Cedar IP.

Have you thought of any tuition for IP? I think for Sec one, it may be ok without tuition and let children learn independantly and with the notes provided in school.

Personally I would encourage direct self learning environment. This would somewhat made the student to learn how to cope well in his / her study.

However, this is not seen in my DD class during year 1. I understand an average of 2-3 subjects per student taking tuition. Taking Chinese and maths are commonly seen among students. Just for your info.

I had tuition all the way from pri school till sec 3. I chose to stop in sec 4 and still maintained my grades and GPA. I think its good for you to let your child see how secondary school subjects work out for her and then decide for herself if she need extra external help. The teachers in cedar are very approachable and should she require help, she can ask for consultation sessions after school. 🙂 Sec school life is very hectic as well.

Average of 88% for p4 and p5 and p6(mid year).
My dd also had Raffles World Math Olympiad(credit i think) and UNSW high distinctions. I'm not sure if these are of any significance.

                    Can I ask,

                    On CCA audition
when one ‘passed’ a CCA audition, is it a sure-in as long as one puts that CCA as first choice? Or amongst those who ‘passed’, they are ranked and there is a possibility that one may not get the first choice CCA?

                    On Electives
Does the list of electives change every year, or are they repeated?

                      Not necessarily sure-in.
