Kids say the darnest things...

schellen:
 Be careful... she might report you to teacher for wearing like that. As for what your DH said, we men have learnt a long time ago how to answer questions like that....DD: Why are you wearing like that?
Me: What do you mean?
DD: Why are you wearing like that? You want to be sexy ar?
Me: Huh? Sexy? :?
DD: (pointing to my exposed midriff) Here can see and there also can see.
Me: I'm just fat lah. That's why cannot cover anymore mah.
DD: (takes another look) When you wear this, you don't look fat what.
Me: *speechless* (thinking Okaaaay....)
Whenever I ask DH whether wearing clothing article XYZ makes me look fat, and he replies, \"No lah, you looked worse last time.\", I am skeptical.
But when DD says it, I immediately believe her.

Talking about clothing, dd will always remind me before parents teacher meeting. \"Mummy, please remember to wear decently. \" As if what I wore is indecent.

Wonder what he wants from me this time?? -
Heyya EN,
Wah lau!
Your child so cute!
I was like so laughing out loud at that remark!
Kids nowadays, huh...
\"Tie your hair up and will look like a teenager\"
is like the killer of all remarks, man!!!
Well, suppose if they start this young...
You should at least be assured that in future,
their choice of a better half will be a good decent one.

my boy is also particular that i dress appropriately even when fetching him from school. he said that actually it's up to me if i choose to dress in 'home clothes', but if other people laugh at my dressing, it's my problem.

Heyya jedamum,
Hehee…
Yours another cute one!
So direct some more! -

Here's another one....
So direct some more!
As i only have
months of driving experience (did not drive daily for that period of time too), i'll usually park the car a distance away from the school and walk my boy to school as I am not mentally prepared to handle the traffic congestion near the school gate.
Me : You have to give me some time...you still have 6 years, so I will drop you off at the (very congested) school's car porch one day, ok?
Ds : Ok. But if you can't do that in 6 years time, I don't think I'll ever dare to sit in your car again....
 -
jedamum:
Well, at least he \"dares\" to sit in your car for 6 years before making up his mind. :lol:Me : You have to give me some time...you still have 6 years, so I will drop you off at the (very congested) school's car porch one day, ok?

HAHAHA! You are all hilarious!
The following telephone conversation occurred when my DD Was about 4 yrs old. I was in the office and DD was probably out somewhere with DW:
*Telephone rings*
ME: \"Hello?\"
DD: \"hello daddy!\"
ME: \"Hello!
Hi!\" [Wonders where DD is calling from] \"Where are you?\"
DD: \"I am here!\"

When I was pregnant with our #3,
our 4 yr old DS kept talking about her coming \"di di\",
on the morning of my detailed scan I asked her,
if this BB is not \"di di\", but \"mei mei\"... how?
Her reply;
\"mei mei\" I don't want,
ask hospital to change to \"di di\" for me.
