      Hi

Have any one sent your kids to Newton apple for tuition. The founder is ex Sci Hod. Could you kindly share about their quality of teaching and the stardard of notes, worksheets & methods & etc. Any improvement or success story to share? Based on website, they claim that they teach science heuristics and answering techniques and have published a book for PSLE.

Hope those who have benefitted can share their experiences.

      Thanking you in advance.

Notice they cover wide range of subjects and many shoes outside the centre. Could someone share more about their programme?

Heard from a colleague that it seems not bad for science. Do not know details but she said she also wanted to try after her friend’s son improved.

My child attended Newton Apple Jurong East at p5. They teach contents as well as process skill. However, it is only a 1.5 hr programme so there is only so much that the teacher can teach with a class or 12/15 students. Pretty good programme considering the fee charged.

At p6, I moved my child to Science Heuristics at GoldHill taught by the founder himself Cedric Chai. The reason why I did that is because I felt my child needs more help in answering questions than the acquisition of knowledge. However, I am disappointed with the programme at science heuristic. The notes are brief, few questions covered in each lesson, fee charged is high, minimal homework is given. On hindsight, I should have let my child stay on at Newton Apple. My 2 cents worth of comments.
