Hi all, just checking if any parents here have kids studying in Chongzheng Pr sch at tampines?

I am considering putting my kids there cos it's very near my home.
I know it's a popular neighbourhood sch but not sure why is it more popular than the rest. Also not sure if it's a ok school in terms of academic & teachers' commitment. I am quite concern cos heard in most neighbourhood schools, teachers spent most of the time dealing with discipline and kids there are less motivated. Is it true? :?:

Would appreciate if you could share your experience & view. Thks!

Does anyone know if there’s a dental clinic at Chongzheng primary school?

It may not seem important now,
but dental treatment is costing a bomb!!!

              TIA.

all schools have dental clinics but they may not be open all the time during the school year. If you are looking to bring your child to dentist before he is p1 you can try the health promotion board ( at Singapore General hospital location) for affordable dental care for young kids.

Hi all, my boy will enter P1 in 2011 and i am trying to decide which school is suitable for him. Can any parents with children studying in Poi Ching share with me about the school?

My boy's mandarin is rather weak and I am worried that Poi Ching's level of standard for Mandarin is too high for him. No doubt it is a good school but i just wanted to find out more from parents' feedback. Thank a mil!

If you and your family's background is week in chinese , better don't opt for poi ching as Poiching chinese standard is quite high.

School works hand-in-hand with parents on the chinese.i.e.
not only children have home work, parents also have home work which are to help the child do recite, revision and ting xie. Parents must sign the worksheet everyday to make sure the child's work is done.

                      Hope it helps
