If the school doesn't issue car decals, does it mean we will always need to talk to the security whenever we need to enter the school?
The security guards there a bit attitude problem -

NN's DS hereA question, perhaps it is a little early, regarding RAs.
At the end of Yr 2, the boys will apply/be selected for RAs.
For Math RA, would a boy be disadvantaged if he is not in Euler?
Is Euler more like teaching ahead, or competition training?
Euler is more of teaching out of syllabus stuff, but not necessarily ahead (eg I don't think we did calculus at all). More like...sideways? So a couple more topics which aren't in O/A level syllabus and also generally more in depth for the rest. Math club (the CCA) handles competition training.
As for RA, the RA class is larger than the Euler class so more people can get in. Everyone still has to take the selection test but in my year the Euler people didn't have to go for interviews. They just asked the teacher for feedback (not everyone from Euler who applied got in though). -

The new term has begun, so has my nightmare! Haha... So far so good. Ds3 settling in well n enjoying every bit of school n making new frds. Similar to your ds2, it doesn't matter where they r as long as they enjoy their learning journey right? Sometimes its good not to put all eggs in one basket too lol ....in case I MIA again, wishing you and all rafflesian parents a great year ahead! To all year 1 parents, enjoy your new journey
I'd prefer it this way too. If two boys go boarding at the same time, you'll definitely miss them so much, as you'll feel their absence so much at home. Now, you can look at DS2 when you miss DS1 (term-1), and look at DS1 when you miss DS2 (term-2). Are they identical twins ?blessedmommy:
Unfortunately, only one is boarding this term
the younger one in term 2. I tell myself I have one less to nag at these 2 terms, not too bad! Haha...
So timely that ur ds1 boarded during psle timing n u can give all ur 'love' to ds2! R both boys in RI now?
Despite my overwhelming TLC, DS2 didn't make it to RI. He's in another boys' school nearby, and he absolutely enjoys every moment there..
