Just received redemption letter from SCB to redeem Risis Prosperity Barrel.

Redemption at Risis outlets in Suntec or Marina Bay Sands.

Only entitled to non existing SCB customer. Existing Priority banking customer is not given any. They gave me only 1.78% for six digit FD placed for 12 months.

I was looking at the website of SCB extracted below:

For every S$88,000 of fresh funds placed into the Time Deposit by 31 January 2016, you will receive one (1) RISIS Prosperity Barrel, subject to availability. Limited to a maximum of five (5) RISIS Prosperity Barrels per eligible customer. For Time Deposit accounts held in joint names, only one (1) RISIS Prosperity Barrel will be given for every S$88,000 of fresh funds deposited in such accounts.

There was nothing mentioned abt existing priority banking customer is not given any.
Also, if you are a priority banking customer, you shld get 1.88%pa for a 12mth deposit with min 25k.
For your 6 digit FD in a 12mth, you seem not to get an appropriate deal leh ???

Those who has participated POSB CNY 1.88% pa by 28th Feb 2015, we should hv our fund released from earmarked by today ( 31st Jan 2016).

I hv tried to open link but it did not bring me anywhere related to this. I am suspecting that POSB is drafting out some sweetening proposal for us to continue holding fund in this bank. I am curious to know more. Hope POSB will officially announce this asap ..... am missing the boat to xfer fund to SCB to enjoy the Jan rate & free gifts :slapshead:
