Any idea of what is the top class in p5? my daughter is currently in 5H now.

Historically 5I, followed by 5H, 5G etc but not too sure for this year. E.g. 4A and 4I was historically the top 2 classes in P4 but was changed to 4A and 4B this year.

May I know for P6 the bestb class is 6I followed by 6H etc ? Which class take Chinese as 2nd language?
Yes, historically and for this year, 6I is the best mainstream class (Note 6J is mainstream BICEP class), followed by 6H, 6G, 6F and so on. Not sure if there is any change going forward.

This year, only 3 mainstream classes take Higher Chinese i.e. 6I, 6H and 6G (if you do not consider GEP or BICEP classes), so the rest all took Chinese. FYI, during our generation (I am assuming we are of about same generation :), we called Chinese as 1st language and Chinese as 2nd language. Now the students just call Higher Chinese and Chinese, a MOE move not to make Chinese sound inferior as 2nd language.

FYIโ€ฆ those of you with younger kids to register for P1 next year, Tao Nan has already send out the "questionnaire" to get details of the kids to be registered. The parents still need to register via the actual Phase 1 registration.

Parents, have it been confirmed that Tao-Nan is going single session for 2017 onwards? Or still not announced?

I would like to ask those parents who transferred to Tao Nan about the duration of the wait. Every year you have to submit the transfer form, does it mean itโ€™s a new queue again every year?

Also, since school PV is out, that leaves only hokkien huay guan PV. However, if my husband joins as the member, does it mean he has to do the PV duties? Can I as his wife do the PV duties?

Is there a minimum number of hours for PV? Or is it based on who does more PV hours gets the letter of recommendation?

Would appreciate experienced parents replies on these issues.

Not sure if there are any changes. During my year, DH is SHHK member, so he will \"sign up\" for all those volunteering work e.g. helping at those religious events etc. For events which he is unable to help, he will still sign up and I will \"stand in\" for him. The minimum PV hours then was 50 hours if I did not remembered wrongly.
