I would like to ask those parents who transferred to Tao Nan about the duration of the wait. Every year you have to submit the transfer form, does it mean itโ€™s a new queue again every year?

Also, since school PV is out, that leaves only hokkien huay guan PV. However, if my husband joins as the member, does it mean he has to do the PV duties? Can I as his wife do the PV duties?

Is there a minimum number of hours for PV? Or is it based on who does more PV hours gets the letter of recommendation?

Would appreciate experienced parents replies on these issues.

Not sure if there are any changes. During my year, DH is SHHK member, so he will \"sign up\" for all those volunteering work e.g. helping at those religious events etc. For events which he is unable to help, he will still sign up and I will \"stand in\" for him. The minimum PV hours then was 50 hours if I did not remembered wrongly.

Hi, anyone knows how should we measure our kidโ€™s school result to that of nationwide PSLE T-score? Should we just compute T-score based on Taonanโ€™s school wide (Level) Mean score and Std Dev? If so, it looks like kids will have to hit avg 95 for all 4 subjects to get T-score aggregate of 250. Is that about right?

T score is a complicated adjustment, based on the cohort performance. A mummy once told me, based on TNS past performance, she and a few mummies perform a \"guess-timation\" on the PSLE scores versus their (and several other) kids' prelims scores. The answer is around \"0.73\". Say if a kid get 360 marks in the prelim, it is likely she will get 360 * 0.73 = 263 in PSLE. As I said, this is just a guess-timation, so take it with a pinch of salt.
