the branded schools didn't increase intake...meaning those still aiming for them will face balloting at 2A for some.
MOE look at the total number of available slots, which is enough for the total number of Dragon kids. What The:
I thought it's logical to increase no. of places? Nothing to hide or what...every Dragon year babies will have more space and MOE knows. Look at birth rate for Dragon year and they just plan accordingly. Logic...
i.e. the strain is still on the so called \"branded\" schools which now face more competition with increased demand.
MOE always said all schools are good schools...so there are more vacancies now.
I remember back in 2006, it was really madness when son registered for p1. even secondary schools increased 1 extra class.
Yes, Minister of Education and MOE always say all schools are good schools. Can anyone tell me which Minister's kids are in a non-branded Primary school? -

For phase 2B and 2C, due to the sheer volume of data to be verified, sometimes no update until the next day. -

Phase 1, 2A1, 2A2 are not for the masses. Hence, very little activity at the moment.
The real action only starts from Phase 2B. -
Hi β¦
Does MOE website states the distance that require balloting? -
furfur:
They have a separate website which informs this:Hi ...
Does MOE website states the distance that require balloting?
https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/primary-one-registration/balloting
Tonight or tomorrow u should see the update. They will not inform the odds (aka how many applicants in that distance category fighting for how many seats) though. Just the distance category that will undergo balloting. Nail biting stuff...or maybe they just pretend people wonβt bite their nails, just calmly sleep thru every night until receive the Yes/No sms
