No. It is the citizenship of the child that determines priority.

May i know what is the procedure after the P1 Registration successful ? like when go to buy school uniform ? buy books ? meeting teacher on the guide or registrate the student care and etc ?

Every school’s dates for such admin/orientation matters is different.

The school will snail mail the letter informing you of the dates, roughly few weeks to few months after you get the registration successful SMS. So check your house mail box. And pray that Singpost mailman is not dumping your letters.

U can monitor the school’s website as well. Call up the office if you didn’t get any letter closer to orientation date. Usually Oct-Dec.

We are staying within one km from chong fu and yishun primary school. Singaporean. My kid will be under 2c. Is it worth to try Chong fu? First time mummy here. We wish to let my girl study in Chinese school

You can always try the ballot in Phase 2C at Chong Fu first.
If you get through, great.
If you don't, apply for Yishun Primary School at Phase 2CS. The school is rarely full at Phase 2C and should have places left for Phase 2Cs. <1km is a guaranteed shoo-in.

MOE website gives you updated numbers applied at the end of each day but doesn't give you the breakdown by distance.
If you truly want real time update, you would need to head to the school or call the school to check. However, they are under no obligation to reveal it to you.

Parents, received the notification from MOE stating below:

Address reflected in the P1-IS is the official residential address on both parents’ NRICs as at 31 May 2019. If the address in the P1-IS is different from that currently on your NRIC, please approach your school of choice with the required documents to register your child.

This does not mean address is per NRIC as of 31 May 2019 right?
We can still register at the school if NRIC address was updated before 3 July 2019 (start of P1 registration) , is my understanding correct?

I read MOE FAQ on home address doesn’t mention about 31 May but 03 July…

Hi I’m newbie here. I’m really stressed up as I’ll be under phase 2c. I just quitted my job last August hence PV is too late I do not have any neighborhood sch within 1km near me. I’m staying at Pasir Panjang the nearest primary sch would be Fairfield Methodist Primary. Nan Hua Pri(temporarily holding plc) is near me but they do not take the existing sch address for the distant. I’m stressed up that I wouldn’t be able to get my boy in to Fairfield. Any advice where or which sch should I stand a better chance.
