Are they still having many DSA applicants?
I remember about 10 yrs back they had a few test centres for their 1st round written test...think estimated about 3k~4k applicants IIRC.

During the recent open house, the VP says NUSH is giving opportunity for everyone who wants to attempt to DSA into the school. If there is not enough available LTs / Halls within NUS High and NUS, they will also arrange to have the selection tests in the neighboring primary/secondary schools. But don't know whether it did extend to the latter.

i see, they going to build another brand new building (centre), within NUS High premises soon, to accomodate more 2020 Sec 1 students admission ?

There were 2 test centres this year : NUS High premise and 3 halls in NUS. Not sure about the total no of applicants… but Clementi Road was sure very packed last Saturday.

Do they send only to the shortlisted candidates?
Will those unsuccessful ones get a "thank you for participating" email?

This week Monday (on Youth day, 8.7.19), when i called up NUS High,
admin lady on the phone replied that much closer (nearer) towards next Saturday (20 July), then NUSH will notifiy only short-listed candidates , to come and attend Selection camp test, next Saturday (20 July)

today is already Friday (12 July) ... end of 2nd week (July).

if by tonight NUSH doesn't notify short-listed candidates, have to be out next week, short notice.

Just called NUSH, the notification for selected candidates to attend the camp will be released middle of next week.
