Hi, has anyone gotten a reply regarding their appeals to schools yet? My daugther submitted hers on the 23rd and still hasnt gotten back a reply. The school we appealed to told us to wait as they don’t know the exact date too and don’t buy her uniform and books yet. But school starts this thursday and our posted school isn’t lending us uniforms. I’m afraid my daughter will stick out like a sore thumb when wearing her primary school uniform on thursday.

Well, you can buy the minimal number first (probably 1 set of uniform, 2 sets of PE attire). If your appeal is successful, you can donate them to the school or to students who want them. Otherwise, you will get to use them.

Hi, did an appeal and went for interview on Thursday. School admin told us that they will get back on the 30th. -

Good enough reason in my opinion!! Haha Whatever that makes the kid happy is more important as after all he is the one who must LOVE the school.

May i know why p6 student card cannot buy concessionary secondary student bus fare for January 2020?
Just checked with a train station staff. For Pri 6 students going on to Sec 1 in 2020, they can buy the train monthly concession pass for January 2020 from 1 January 2020 onwards. Not possible to buy it before that date.
Also, their Primary level student EZlink card will be extended to April 2020. Meanwhile, their Secondary level student EZlink card will be distributed to them between January to March 2020.

Additional info on train fares: Any passengers (ie adults and students) who take tap in to any train station before 7.45am will enjoy a discount of 50 cents for their train ride. You may wish to factor this before you decide whether the train monthly concession pass is worth it for your children. -
Just received positive appeal result today, and managed to settle all the paper work prior school closure today. Grateful to have a good ending of year 2019! Good luck to parents who are still waiting for appeal result, I know its really stressful…
