Congrats! I am grateful that my dd also received offer from LKC. May I know is it because of covid that your dd now decides to stay put? I am asking because my dd also has LSE Law offer. She still wants to go but I would like her to stay.
Thank U. She actually has imperial london offer too. But she decides to stay behind. -
Happy for those who have received offers from NTU
Congratulations!
My son has only applied for NUS medicine; I hope he will have an offer soon.
Good luck to all applicants! -
Is that all for NTU Med offers for A lvl students?

For medicine, it is better to learn the local diseases and local hospital system. Gluts are forming in both medicine and law. They will look after local graduates first. Heard MOH is also not giving many peg grants now. Going forward, may be difficult for overseas graduates to get jobs back in Singapore.
U have to ask your daughter whether she is keen on law or med. They are very different disciplines. Btw I was from LSE too

My girl just got her offer from NTU and she’s from IB. All thanks to God!

LKC Intakes roughly half the numbers in YLL...Yes, probably the best are selected by LKC. Fee is higher 5-6k/yr compared to YLL.
Think it is even tougher to get an offer at NTU. Basically everyone interviewed by NTU has good bmat. NUS interviewed anyone with 88.75 and above. NTU has an additional hurdle of Bmat. Meaning they picked the best of the best. So everyone who made it to the interviews are very good. They deserved a pat on the back.
Applicants for LKC knew and taken BMAT in order to qualify for application.
The same group of applicants applied for YLL as well.
LKC is warm and welcoming compared to YLL, many will agreed.
Those receiving double offer from YLL & LKC, many chosen YLL over LKC. It was the case for my girl.
She was charmed by LKC, and so were we...frozen in front of web-screen shown 2 offered choices (LKC & YLL).
As a family, we discussed intensively on pros and cons. She spoken with her seniors in LKC and YLL.
We left the final decision to her.
She cried after letting go offer from LKC...It was a tough choice on her part, this we believed.
This week she completed her M1 in YLL. I can say, she had a really good time.
It is not just the >100yrs of history, it is the larger cohort and the so many ways and opportunities in learning.
I am not sure today, if she will remember the moment when she decided to embrace YLL instead of LKC (really charmed her).
But, I am sure that those gotten double offer within this 1-2 weeks...will face the same dilemma.
As parents, shared and encourage them to talk to seniors. Leave the decision to them...it is their 1st big decision in life.
Congratulation to ALL proud parents !!! -
