          Hi,
My girl is just lost the second last one of her name tags in yr 4, and I don't want to bother her too much and make things essier as she is very stressed with studies. Does anyone know where to buy the name tags that rgs will allow, do you buy in the school or somewhere outside as well? Hers has to be red i think,
          thank you very much everyone
Sch bookstore. You will be asked to fill in your girl's details like full name and class at the bookstore. Then just make payment and they will let you know when to get your girl (or yourself) to collect the tag from the bookstore.

From what I have read in this topic about Subject Combinations, Am I right to say that RGS girls get whatever subject combination they prefer?

You mean year 3? Think the girls were advised to select the subject combo based on their strength and interest. 8 Subjects with either 2 Sciences or 2 Humanities. Or 9 subjects with triple Sciences or triple Humanities. Excluding 3rd language and RA subject. Then the school would published subject combo selection results. Those who want appeal school decisions may do so. Pls correct me if wrong.

Any one knows what is the median for literature for year 1 based on last cohorts?

In the past, the girls were asked to submit their preliminary subjects combi as early as July and preferably don't change them (final submission deadline sometime in Oct) as the school will do their staff planning based on the preliminary submissions. DD1 said all her friends got the combi they submitted, even the more unusual ones.

That’s good to hear. Especially for uncommon subject combos.

yes, unlike some schools where you have to meet min grades to do a certain subject!

The most common combo by far is triple science + geo, followed by triple sci + history. But there are also many that choose 2 sciences (most popular Bio + Chem) and 2 humanities, with very very few doing only Chem from my understanding.

So, taking triple Science in RGS is quite common, while taking triple humanities is very unusual?
