Is it just me or are the psle scores very low this year? A friend’s daughter who is good at her studies but not the exceptional type, I was expecting her to get 240+ but she got 231. Another friend’s son I expected a 260+ but he got 254. I wonder what happened to the kids.

        My daughter gotten 248 +2

        Thinking to put

        1. Scgs o lvl
        2. Rvhs
        3. Cedar girls o lvl
        4. Crescents girls

As top 4 choice. Is it safe to say my daughter can at least get in to crescents girls as her 4th choice?

Unless there are reasons such as school culture etc that make a difference to the choice order, would you consider putting them by order of 2020 COP (highest to lowest) instead?
Crescent Girls seems like a fairly safe safety net but do use your 5th and 6th choices wisely too.

Will putting crescents girls as 5th or 6th choice hinder her chance of getting in to the Sch?
My friends advice me to put crescents as 1st choice to be safe.

Can I check does the school choice matters? For example, if I put xx sch as 5th choice but the other student put the same sch as 2nd choice but both these students got the same score, will the student who put the sch as 2nd choice get admitted first? Whereas the student who put as 5th choice will depends on whether there is still vacancy when it come to his turn.

By COP in descending will be

                    RV (unlikely at 250)
                    CEDAR
                    SCGS
                    CGS

                      Hi parents,

I’m new in this forum but would like to seek your advice as I am a first time PSLE parent too.
In terms of COP, what is the safe points above the COP (i.e. +3, +5 of COP) to make sure the child get in to the school of choice? Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

                        Hello all

My child scored 226 but there is no school nearby with any 220+ range to select. All are much higher like 334, 335, or lower about 218, 213 . So for the lower ones I believe should be able to get in.

I am wondering should we just select the 21x schools? Or travel much further to 220+ schools.

I realized many schools do not provide O Levels outcome in their website. Is there any place where we can check the O levels outcome? Thank you

                        Thanks
