All along I'd thought with the physical token worn on my body, I was already geo-tagged and geo-fenced.

Exactly that was one of the reasons why I turned my bluetooth off in between shops and malls as I had my token with me. :yikes:

Whoa, many elderly might not have brought their tokens to the market or kopitiam when they were still using the SafeEntry old app.

The battery of our TT tokens must be low by now after 6 mths.

Looking at the unabating trends, may I suggest Phase 2 be extended till end of the Jun holidays?

BUT, ONLY allow FULLY VACCINATED, or those who's taken 1 shot, to dine-in. As of now, there should be 3,728,869 Singaporeans, PRs and long-term residents who can help the government rejuvenate our sluggish F&B sector.

Restaurants, hawker centres, food courts, cafes and kopitiams should allow max 2-pax seating to admit people who flash their TT app's \"FULLY VACCINATED\" icon to the staff. It's not that prominent now in tiny print under \"Vaccination Status\".

To deter imposters, e.g. people borrowing their friends TT icon and screengrab the icon to show & cheat unsuspecting hawker centre vendors or kopitiam aunties, the READER should be upgraded.

E.g. READER light to flash RED upon tapping if this person is unvaccinated; AMBER if taken 1 shot; GREEN for those FULLY VACCINATED people. Sounds like a crazy tall order for GovTech!! 😆 :rotflmao:

HK started creating ''vaccination bubbles'' in F&B some weeks ago, but the segregation and reconfiguration of restaurant seating caused a lot of confusion. SG can designate certain food courts or hawker centres for this trial as practicable as possible. Yeah, sounds a bit discriminatory, but I think the unvaccinated ones should just order takeaways till end-Jun when the QO'd people have dropped.

South Korea has also just announced FULLY VACCINATED persons to be able to remove their masks outdoors.

If you receive the alert message \"Possible Exposure\", do you need to go for swab test or not compulsory ?
No need. Per coast's post on p561, MOH said \"If the risk of infection is assessed to be low: Users are informed via the Possible exposure feature, for self-monitoring.\"

It's already my second alert within 6 mths. 😉

But this time, the time lag (date of visit till date of alert) is 10 days, compared to my 1st time which was within 1-2 days I recall. So I immediately self-monitored for 14 days.

Now that the caseloads have gone up, the updates by the authorities are slower.

Therefore, you can imagine many people like me might have also received super belated notifications from their TT app. By the time of notification, they have already unwittingly gallivanted to many places to dine-in, exercise, etc., thereby risking more innocent people being exposed in the last 7-10 days. Too late!

The purpose of the TT is to enable the authorities to ring-fence possible contacts within the shortest possible time, but not sure why there's a long delay.

Does it take such a long time to open up the token and retrieve data saved inside? 🤷

            outrageous

Repeated offender. Despite being caught, continue to break safe measures  :nunchuk: :spank:

district court too nice, did not impose max fine and did not jailed him.

SINGAPORE — After illegally converting a unit in an industrial building into an entertainment venue, Kenneth Chua Wei Lun went on to breach Covid-19 safe distancing laws by co-hosting two large parties at the unit over two weekends.

Police officers first busted 40 people drinking, smoking and singing in the Midview City building on Jan 8.

The next week, at the same unit at Sin Ming Lane, they found 13 people there.

On Tuesday (May 25), Chua, 32, was fined S$15,500 in a district court.....

I've replaced all four tokens in our household. Three were dead and one was blinking red (this was the weekend before the 17 May).

It is advisable to check every now and then if you just have the thing inside a computer bag, backpack, handbag pocket.

I wonder how many of the unlinked cases are due to these illegal parties.

If you use the Gateway for checking in, it will tell you if the battery has run out (i.e. it won't beep). I use my token for entering the supermarket, and my office had just installed one (I haven't had a chance to to use that one, though).
