Hi all,

I need some advice which school to choose as I'm in Phase 2C for Rulang Pri, Shuqun Pri and Boon Lay Garden within 1 km.

Corporation Pri will be Phase 2A or B I'm not very sure. I'm a ex student from Corporation Pri.

If I choose Rulang Pri and the ballot fail what should I do? This is my 1st time registering for my son P1.

If you ballot for Rulang and not successful, you can consider either Boon Lay Garden or Corporation for Phase 2CS. Both will have vacancies for Phase 2CS.

At this time last year, the anxiety level as measured by posts in this thread was almost doubled. The lack of info has made parents more resigned to whatever is around their homes it seems or just follow through with whatever schools they have in mind.

Hi! I have not been posting here for so long (few years, in fact). I have registered my SG50 DD3 under Phase 1. Probably after this evening this thread will be hotter.

Neither me or my husband are alumni of any school.
We can only apply at phase 2C.

There are no school within 1km.
Between 1km to 2km, there are Raffles Girls’, Singapore Chinese Girls’, and NanYang.
Both RGS and SCG are out, as our is a boy.
NY is most likely taken up by all within 1km.

Any suggestion of how we should choose our schools to apply at phase 2C / Phase 2Cs?
Any suggestion of backup school please?

Did you use OneMap SG app (school query function) to check? Double check that you are not <1km of NYPS.

This is what I got when I chose Adam Road Food Centre as the building. Your specific residential building may or may not be considered beyond 1km, I do not know but the app will tell you.

If you really do not have any co-ed or boys schools within 2km, can consider for phase 2C:
- Clementi Primary (33min via bus 165)
- New Town Primary (9 min straight down via Farrer Road if you drive)
