Easiest way to Bibi&Baba (if taking public transport) is to take mrt to Orchard, exit via Ion and walk out from wheelock place. Far East shopping centre is just a stone’s throw away.

Do note that Bibi is not allowing students to try on the uniforms. The counter staff will help you identify a size based on visuals… you should still bring your child along. 14 day exchange period if the uniforms are not a good fit. Best to go before the Dec rush. I just went to Bibi a few days ago to purchase Pri school uniforms.

Where can I get info on the uniform provider? I googled and found schooluniforms.Sg (by Bibi Baba). Is this the official school distributor?

        Thanks in advance

Parents with children AL 4 and confirmed DSA, you may get your uniforms first! The week after posting results was out, … queues were formed as there’s safety measures in place and also students from other schools who also buy from the same vendor.

Hi parents, can you advise me about the culture and the environment in RGS? I am shortlisting a few schools, and RGS is one of my consideration for submission next week. However, I understand it is very competitive and stressful. I will like to understand the support, the culture, the teachers and the students?

Please do help for those who have a much in depth into RGS.
                thanks alot in advance!

RGS is a school that provides a platform for girls to further achieve their potential academic, character and leadership , it also offers opportunities for the students to showcase their ability in diverse fields from sports, music and technopreneurship. There is the peer support board that is helps support the students through challenges.
Learning environment wise, its got all that is needed and maybe more with the external help from ex students.
Culture? Not really sure how to define that, but the typical RGS girl is independent, has strong opinion and articulate.

My DD is Y4 next year and so far she is happy with the school, she has a complaints and such but the camaraderie with her friends, classmates and house makes it up somehow.
They are always so busy, stress with PPA and EYA it's not always a bed of roses, but they manage.
She does not aim for the 4.0s, happy to do to the best of her abilities.
Teachers are approachable and most have consultative way dealing with the gals.

End of the day depends on your DD's character, does she thrive under pressure, seeks challenges and self driven?
What's her motivation? What makes her tick?Only she would know and her parents to an extent.
I understand that she's 12-13 and might not have give much thought about it, the virtual open house might be a good opportunity for her to see for herself if RGS is for her

                  My 5 cents worth

                    Hi parents,

My girl is thinking of putting RGS as her choice. I have a few questions here:

                    1) do you find the girls going tuition in order to cope with ip? Or teachers consultation works better?

                    2) for a child who is more introvert or less vocal, will it be an issue as I have seen the girls in RGS seems very confident speakers.

                    3) for cca, I heard there’s audition and selection, super competitive. If the child has piano background, would it be easier to join cca like band or string?

                    Thank you!

                      will consider carefully.

                        1) Some will have tuition , have to find the time. Most subjects in Y1-Y2 are ok, but it gets tougher in Y3 depending on the subject combo. Its the same for most Sec schools I guess

                        2) That is a valid concern for most parents, but the teachers encourage and will give opportunities to everyone.
With presentations and group discussions, they will take turns to voice their opinion

                        3) CCA is a hit or miss, there will be selection trials by students and teachers , if first round not selected will be offered available slots.
Music CCA, priority is for those that DSA music, then will go same process as above.

                        Cheers
