U are referring to maths textbook, there is no need to buy digital version. Think you need to buy both sec 1 and 2 maths textbook. My DD going sec 2 is buying sec 3 maths textbook.

My DD bought 3 sets.

Why would it be confiscated?
I don't think e-readers are confiscated even in pri-schools just because they are brought to school, right?

Unless the student is reading it when other things are going on, eg. while the teacher is teaching or during times when they are supposed to be paying attention, etc, I don't see why an e-reader would be confiscated. Anyway, from Sec2 onwards, they have (and are supposed to bring and use) personal IT devices like laptops/ ipads.

Don't worry - they aren't treated like small kids anymore but are expected to act and behave responsibly. So your e-reader is probably safe.

My friend once told me that her e-reader was confiscated in her sec school and I am afraid to bring my one to school. And I used to think that NYGH is a strict school and digital devices are prohibited in school.
Anyway, Sec school is a lot different from primary school.

Just to check those talent development programmes (Math, Science, humanities) in NYGH targeted those through DSA only or students with excellent results (sec 1 yearend result) will be given invitation letters as well to join in too mayb in sec 2 term 1 following year?
