Yes, balloting for SC< 1km for both years.
May I know for 2021 and 2022, the stage 2C for St. Andrew, was there balloting for Singapore Citizen within 1 km? Thank you.
In Year 2022,
Number of applicants: 124
Number of vacancies: 82
In Year 2021,
Number of applicants: 105
Number of vacancies: 64 -
Thanks Liew for the reply!

BTW, if balloting occurs for those <1km, it is very likely that the number of applicants is equal to the number of people involved in the balloting. People who live more than 1km are likely to be called on to withdraw their applications before the close of the Phase because they can’t even join the balloting. In any case, while applying for the school, you should already know if the school will likely be requiring balloting under one of the 3 distance categories.

Just a poll and do share your views on the school if you know.
Between pei chun and scgs, which one would you enroll your child into?
Many thanks in advance! -

If single child or only girls in the family, SCGS.

Otherwise, if you have both boys and girls, you will have to decide whether you can tahan the logistics of sending them to different schools. If can’t, PCPS. -
Some nice updates in the MOE P1 registration website... Now they put in balloting history data for 2022.
The best thing is, they even provided the number of applicants actually involved in the balloting - in the past when say balloting within 1km, we only have the total number of applicants, but not the breakdown of how many are actually going through the balloting. The new update solves this mystery!
Taking RGPS as example, it is shown in MOE's website, for 2022 registration:
Phase 2C
Vacancies / Applicants
90 / 125
Balloting: Yes
Conducted for: Singapore Citizen children residing within 1km of the school.
Vacancies for ballot / Balloting applicants
90 / 95
Very useful info!
