I filled up just one choice and submitted it without issue πŸ‘
I feel the options could have been better but since MOE categorized the languages then I just go ahead with 1 language.

Sigh.. my son wants Malay language. I was hoping he would go for something more exotic.. πŸ˜‚
LOL! Malay language is not a bad language to have. It is actually very powerful if he's keen on public/govt affairs and maybe a career in politics πŸ™‚

Can parents get to see the papers when a review is requested? If yes, it would be good as Math is not subjective, straight away you can tell how many marks are assigned unlike English/Chinese papers which have subjective elements in compo/compre.

Same here. I wish MOE would allow the student to select 2 or more languages from the same category.

Umm... I actually understand Malay somewhat, having spent my childhood playing with the horde of Malay kids in my neighborhood. But I keep quiet about it until I hear some people gossiping about me πŸ˜‚ I'll shoot them the evil eye

During my NS, there were Chinese fluent in Malay and Malays fluent in Mandarin.

In the end, everyone spoke English and kept gossiping to a minimal (since they can’t gossip secretly in any native language. Hahahha)

Depends on which school. Check this list:
