I filled up just one choice and submitted it without issue ๐Ÿ‘
I feel the options could have been better but since MOE categorized the languages then I just go ahead with 1 language.

Sigh.. my son wants Malay language. I was hoping he would go for something more exotic.. ๐Ÿ˜‚
LOL! Malay language is not a bad language to have. It is actually very powerful if he's keen on public/govt affairs and maybe a career in politics ๐Ÿ™‚

Can parents get to see the papers when a review is requested? If yes, it would be good as Math is not subjective, straight away you can tell how many marks are assigned unlike English/Chinese papers which have subjective elements in compo/compre.

Same here. I wish MOE would allow the student to select 2 or more languages from the same category.

Umm... I actually understand Malay somewhat, having spent my childhood playing with the horde of Malay kids in my neighborhood. But I keep quiet about it until I hear some people gossiping about me ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll shoot them the evil eye

During my NS, there were Chinese fluent in Malay and Malays fluent in Mandarin.

In the end, everyone spoke English and kept gossiping to a minimal (since they canโ€™t gossip secretly in any native language. Hahahha)

Depends on which school. Check this list:

Hi my dd got 14M her choices are as below:

                      1. NCHS 12(D)
                      2. TKGS 13
                      3. TKSS 14
                      4. St Joseph Covent 14
                      5. St Hilda sec 15
                      6. Geylang Methodist 15

Do u think she has a chance to go TKSS if the first 2 fails? Thanks
My personal opinion is your choices are risky. There is a high possibility of her getting 5th or 6th choice.
For TKSS, she is right at the COP, and at choice 3, she will lose out to those kids who put TKSS at choice 1 and 2. Same for St Joseph.
Unless you can find out last year ballot happened at which choice.

                      Good luck!

                        Hi fellow parents,

In relation to the Math paper scores, do pardon me to disagree a little with the part โ€œa lot of children is affectedโ€.
If I may use a pseudo-stat (very rough estimate), I have a parents group chat consisting of around 60ish parents of the P6 cohort in DDโ€™s school.
From that group, so far I knew 1-2 parents intended to have review over the Math paper, which means roughly less than 2%.
However, this is only DD school and some friendโ€™s son/daughter โ€˜s schools thus I do not know the true number as well.

I did not have the intention to prevent anyone to stop appealing for his/her mark though, just trying to express my opinion here.
