If you “anyhow” apply, you won’t even make it pass the first round. If you are shortlisted, that means there’s something that the school sees in you.

There are a variety of reasons why one gets rejected for DSA, and the reasons are not always negative. Sometimes, there’s only 1 spot available and you happen to be the second or third pick, or you could be playing in a position where the school would like to have but not in desperate need. In short, you could be high up on the list but not the priority for DSA.

Therefore, if you meet the COP, just appeal if that’s your dream school. Just another piece of paper to fill, no costs involved.

feelings can go, both ways.

Some P6 students,
having been turned down / rejected by their DSA school,
are not even interested in appealing back to the same old school anymore. Analogy ?
Is like u attend a job interview & they turned u down, so u accept the verdict & move on to some other company to work in,

while others, those who received either

(whose Wait-list Not been converted into CO, but at least they have been offered a Wait-list,

or
received Rejection) ,
will still proceed ahead to try appeal.

Your first scenario described my DDs decision. Turned down for DSA by RGS and SCGS. Now applying for NYG and St Nics IP instead. No talent so use brute force. LOL.

Hi all asking if SNGS have appeal form?

My DD AL8 foreigner got her 2nd choice: RVHS but the sms said Express not IP
I want to know if RVHS got Express?
On MOE website only mentioned IP as their programme and only 1 code for IP that we submitted but we got Express so weird
