The image above (wackyduo) is likely the O level stream COPs whereas Zaobao (and the pasted Chinese text) is talking about the IP streams. By all accounts, MGS IP COP is AL6.

Some figures may still be off and not all schools bother to update (i.e. we'll need to see what MOE publishes next year).

There is a link on that page leading to IP COP listing. It’s not highlighted but it’s there right below the analysis passage.

The difference was noted by other parents i know too.
The link to wackyduo has been updated I am pretty sure. Didn't take any proof but just to share the difference spotted. Good that they have updated promptly.

i dont think the data was wrong. the earlier table was for express O level, the subsequent was for IP COP.

A school with more stringent COP doesn’t necessarily mean a better school, and certainly doesn’t mean a school which better fit a child’s development. This is coming from a person who has been to a top school. Yes the experience was great for me but I have also seen others who couldn’t keep up with the demands or environment. It’s all about the best fit for a child. And yes, distance is an important consideration for us and our kids too.

Totally agreed. Behind the scenes are some struggling to keep up to stay afloat with tough competition. Quite a number are also visiting private psychologist to manage stress / depression.
