saw wackyduo posted saying he called each school this morning to ask. credits to him and thanks for his efforts. :rahrah:

i dont think the data was wrong. the earlier table was for express O level, the subsequent was for IP COP.

There may have also been some confusion from this article? It says COP for 2022-2023 but the article is from May (2022). I.e. COP from 2021 PSLE / 2022 S1s.

Anyways, yes, the efforts are appreciated!

A school with more stringent COP doesn’t necessarily mean a better school, and certainly doesn’t mean a school which better fit a child’s development. This is coming from a person who has been to a top school. Yes the experience was great for me but I have also seen others who couldn’t keep up with the demands or environment. It’s all about the best fit for a child. And yes, distance is an important consideration for us and our kids too.
Totally agreed. Behind the scenes are some struggling to keep up to stay afloat with tough competition. Quite a number are also visiting private psychologist to manage stress / depression.

These are few and far between....been in a top 2% school it's only a handful in this criteria most are swifted out quite accurately by psle scores

                    How abt RVHS 🤭🤭🤭
RVHS also groom their students differently… cannot compare other IP schools imo 😂

While it’s easy to form an opinion about schools based on COP, COP doesn’t tell the whole story. Academically, the results of the top tier schools, ie all the IP schools, at the end of the day will be quite similar (although he / she who clutches at straws might disagree). Each school will come with its pros and cons, and some students will fit better in some schools than others. While I concur that each school will groom their students differently (due to their long history and traditions IMO), it doesn’t mean your daughter will be a natural fit for the mould of a Rafflesian, a Cedarian, or something.

Any form for SNGS? Info on COP 2022?
                      My DD AL8 foreigner
                      1st choice SNGS O level
But got her 2nd choice RVHS

                      We live near AMK
Is it worth it to appeal for O level and let go IP 🤣🤣🤣
I think \"worth it\" or not is a very personal thing as each person's considerations / circumstances will be different. IMHO, choosing IP for IP sake, or under the impression that it's 'prestigious' will be a very silly thing to do :siam:

For me: accessibility / location, distance, school's culture / spirit, and general academic standing would be something that I would consider (in no particular order). As such, if I'm in your shoes, RVHS would probably not be among my choices - IP or otherwise. I'm sure you have thought about that before and have decided on your choices as it is 😂 Just stick with it and no need to think too much now :imanangel:
