Have the following qns hope you can help.

        1. What to bring for the school registration? Child’s birth cert, parents IC and the immunization letter, that’s all right?

        2. Would MOE know you apply to more than 1 sch on the same day? What would they do to your applications? any idea?

        3. If TUR is more than vacancies, would you be inform by phone to go down for the balloting ? understand for TNS, the result of application is 13 Aug. Does that mean the ballot will be on 13 Aug?

That should be all unless you are using the grandparents' address for registration. The best is to check through MOE's website:
            http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/required-documents/
2. Would MOE know you apply to more than 1 sch on the same day? What would they do to your applications? any idea?
The registration process is computerised and online. You will not be allowed to register at another school without first withdrawing from the school you had already registered in.

The school will inform you should you require balloting. 13 Aug is the result for 2C for all schools, not just TNS. While the school can choose to ballot on an earlier date, so far it seems most will ballot on the result release day.

Just came back from a super stressful 2B balloting at TNS!! Actually, the atmosphere wasnt as bad as i expected. It was quite friendly and normal. None of those dagger stares that i was expecting. Maybe the pricipal and all the staff made the process very smooth and user friendly.

I was expecting the confusion to happen when the name of a child was called twice (since this time round, there are 2 ballot slips for singapore citizens and one for PR) but surprisingly, there was a system in place for this and someone was keeping tab. A bell would ring when a name was called for the second time, hence allowing the parent drawing the slip to draw again! It was all very structured and systematic. Kudos to all the staff who made it seem like they’ve done this forever!

One thing to note is that TNS website stated 3 PR applicants but in the balloting, there were 4…anyway…

Congrats to all those who got places in this phase!
For those who didnt, good luck in 2C wherever you are going to register!

Well TNS does this 3 times a year; For PV selection, phase 2B and phase 2C.

:congrats: to your sister & niece. :celebrate: but why isn't your sister a member here? :?

i think phase 2C will be as drama as phase 2b for TNS.

Yes! Really nerve wreaking and I don't wish any parent going through this. You can see the joy of tears from some parents and the disappointment in others.

Good luck and best wishes to all others trying out for Phase 2C!
