      ningy:
After waiting anxiously for the phone to ring these few weeks, especially when some DD's classmates have already attended NYGH's interviews; finally the call has come !! DD (mainstream) is being offered a confirmed place without interview and we will be attending a tea session with the Principal next Wed !! :celebrate:

Please advise which domain in RI does your son take? Thanks!

DD applied NYGH DSA via academics. Went to GAT (17/6) and no interview. I think the domain thing is for RGS or RI. NYGH simpler; just GAT (for mainstream) and no other selection test.

Thanks everyone; we’ll be celebrating but still must remind DD that PSLE is still more important. Hopefully she will not be lazy and day dream instead of putting more "oil" and put more effort in revising. Seems like not much homework and she’s still not feeling the pressure/stress yet. May be after prelim; the teachers and students will switch gear.

Congrats ningy! Must be such a relief. If you don’t mind, mat I know your DD results? She must have done very well to get confirmed DSA with no interview!

                      Hi ningy

Congratulation! Your DD must have scored very very well in SA1 that she is confirmed without interview. My dd is in gep but did badly in SA1. did not even get a chance for interview at NYHG. Conclusion, NYHG is fair, no prilvilege for GEP students.

My DD attended interview last wed, but I didn’t receive phone call today. Does that mean it’s a gone case?

                        thx,
