The lessons are not back to back. We bring her home for a break then back again.

Need audition. Passing audition is not difficult. However, surviving the course is difficult. Besides the sending/fetching twice on same day, we need to sit with her daily for home practice. Very high commitment and too stressful for us parents especially when we don't have much music background. Hubby already decided to stop after this term. I'm half hearted, want to see her internal exam results before making a firm decision. My dd is probably the only one who wish to continue :faint: -

Indeed quite tough for a K2 gal however if she does have interest then dun give up since you travelled to where you are now.
My DS in P1 this year hardly find time to practice his piano. I feel it’s a struggle when they gets to primary school. -
DS is in sec school now. Difficult to find time for enrichment or developing other interest. Now only has music and English. Total is >$700 per month. The music fee increases as the grade gets higher. No choice, cannot u-turn. I have talked to his music school principal, if go poly, DS could work as part time music teacher with the school. Have told ds the good news that he could earn money after O levels.

Hi, I have the same thinking. Work as part time music teacher when dd is older.
For my case,
when in primary school time, only music.
now in sec, music + maths = $580 -
my girl will be in P2 next year. Many of my friends’ daughters are having problem coping science. I realized that in order to score marks for the questions, the child needs to know the Key words. Does anyone has any suggestion on how to guide/coach to identify the key words. This will certainly benefit them in all aspects of life.
