        lala81:

        tuang,

i agree that there is no perfect childcare..i just hope that my gal is happy and have more self confidence.

when i sat in during the first day, i am very impressed by the kids rehearsing for the national day parade.. i am also very curious how the celebration will be like.i will be going ard 6.30 pm as i gotta work.

today just received a consent form for outing to HPB Board..is ur boy going? i asked my gal but she says she dont want to go.. maybe she is not used to the new environment yet and nvr been to excursion before. so this time round,i respect her decision.

        Hi lala81
Did u see their performance yesterday? For n1 class even though they were not perform very well but they gave them a chance to stand in front people to train their self confidence.
I didn't ask my son whether want to join their outing. I just sign the form. Normally they will very excited when they go outing. I suggest u to accompany her the fist few time. When she used to the environment then u can let her go with teacher. There are few times to go outing every year in \"PR\". I like it. Because our child can learn something from the experience of outing.

        Dear Tuang,

i did not manage to see the performance but my mum did..my gal was among the N1 crowd also..when she did not see my mum she was ok..but when she saw my mum she immediately run to my mum and din want to perform anymore.

I have decided to let her join in the outing as teacher told me so far all are going..i just told her teacher is bringing them out in a bus and she will return to sch for lunch. I hope she wont cry thr the excursion.

I wont be following her cos feedback from teacher is that she is more clingy and unwilling to participate in class when i am around. So i just take the plunge and let her go by herself...

Can anyone share with me is there any good childcare centre/Kindergarten in Woodlands area? I am looking for childcare/ kindergarten where the teachers there has good teachingquality and kid can learn good discipline in the centre. Thanks.

Hi, both my daughters were enrolled in Evangel Kindergarten. My elder girl is now in P2 and had no problems transitioning from preschool to primary school. My younger girl is now in N1 and enjoys going to school. The principal is very caring, and so are the teachers. Whenever I've had any issues to raise, all I do is write a short note, and the teacher will call me back when she has a spare moment on the same day to speak with me.

The school is quite popular, and there is balloting for places every year. School fees are $175 a month, for 3 hours daily. You can find out more at their website: http://www.wsc.org.sg/ek.htm

                Hope this helps!

                    dear TUANG/2 littlekids

it has been a while since the last posting…

my gal is generally ok after 1.5 mths in sch…no cries and she can walk into the sch by herself every morning and manage to make friends.(she told me she likes to play with a boy name 'kai QXXX)… any chance that he is ur boy, TUANG? )

She loves her teachers and so far did not hear any negative comments from her abt the sch

I am looking forward to the sports day and hope to see u ladies there!
