Pls advise on where to get my girl’s princess theme clothing other than the disney princess clothings.
Do you have any recommendations on hairdo, makeup, etc for little princess? Where should I get my party supplies from? -

Hi!
Haha...I understand what u mean!auntieM:
Funz is right about Mac birthday parties.. ...really depends on the staff you get.
Attended one at Potong Pasir recently and was pretty disorganised and chaotic.
good help is hard to find these days!
For my kids - this year I did a MILO party.
It was cool as I wrote to Milo and they sponsored cups, caps, badges...
Really cut down the cost!
Can you share more on this? -
Hi…how does you’ll celebrate your child’s one year old birthday? Can share as I have no idea. Thanks.

I intend to hire a magician for 1 hour which will be $330.
Is that the market rate for magician????
Dd's enrichment teacher also side line as magician during party. We saw him at one of the mcdonalds and I am wondering what would his charges be like.... Didn't dare to ask yet. -
Hi MMM,
I think should be around there. But you can find out more.
After much discussion with my hubby, we decided not to hold a party for my kids. We will give better party bags for their classmates & go for a holiday instead.

hi i3mum, i think yr kids will like the holiday better! we had a big bday bash for my son when he turned one and realised it was more for us than him! We had a cosy family dinner for his 2nd bday and did a 1 night trip to bintan n it was so much more meaningful and fun.
But MMM if u are keen to organise bday party with magician, yes i think the rate is abt $300 an hr. My friend hired one last yr and i think that's what she paid. Some party organisers charge abt $350 for a simple party set-up with balloons, games and some gifts. -
Hi,
Can someone who has experienced in holding a birthday party at Macdonald share with me your experience?
I am planning to hold a birthday party for my 6th yr old girl at Mac Queensway. I was disappointed to learn that they will only organise 2 games in the whole 1 1/2 hrs. Do I need to get more to fill up the time?
Also, anyone can advise me what’s the norm for the invited kid’s parents? Do we have to serve them more other than drinks and dessert since the timing is at 2.30 to 4pm?
Thanks. -
One thing abt holding parties at mac is the time! Yr guests will come abt 15min late and by the time everyone settled down, it’s not a lot of time left. Sometimes it’s made worse that the mac has back to back parties so once time is up they will start to chase u away! Haha… Their turnard time is abt 30min?
My advice is, at most get a short magic show to spice up the whole party a little! After all, the ppl at mac are not professionals so quality varies. Or maybe get some entertainment while the kids are eating like balloons.
For parents, their serve them their normal meals:burger, fries and drinks. They are there for their kids and usually has no special demands, at least this is how I feel.
Hope this helps! -
My 3 yo DS' birthday is approaching very soon and was deciding whether to hold a party for him or not. We had a big birthday party celebration for him when he was 1 yo and ordered a beautiful Pooh Bear 3 kg cake from Bangawan Solo and buffet spread at our condo. party room next to the swimming pool. We invited about 30 guests mostly with children and had a great time taking pictures to preserve the memories!
For his 2 yo birthday, we had a simple car cake from Angie's and lunch at home with his grand-parents. He was fidgetty and squiggling away and we did not managed to take many nice pics of him (ke...ke...ke). At the \"terrible two\" stage so boy were we glad to have it simple!
For his 3 yo, it is going to fall during his 1-week school holidays so we will not be able to celebrate at his school. I was actually kinda looking forward to buying a cake for his class-mates as well as preparing party-packs for them!
Anyway decided again to have home-cook lunch at home with my in-laws and now still trying to find a \"perfect\" cake for him. Without all those colourings and toys etc...not too big....yet cute for a boy! Cost effective too! Have been looking at the article \"Kids Birthday Cake\" until I almost crossed-eyed already from looking at all those fantastic and beautiful cakes.
But still could not decide which one to order...
